Where are they now? Dr xiaoyu.sun is now a Lecturer @ANU, leading impactful research in software security & AI4SE. She’s: 🔹 Published 25+ papers 🔹 Built tools like SEEKER (9,905 sensor leaks detected!) 🔹 Co-leading a $977K project w/ CSIRO And still collaborating with us!






Where Are They Now? Dr Mingyi Zhou is now Assistant Prof at Beihang University! He co-leads an R&D team w/ Huawei building analysis tools for new mobile languages like ArkTS — now in OpenHarmony’s IDE. Still collaborating with HumaniSE Lab on mobile app & AI model security!




Where Are They Now? Hourieh Khalajzadeh, Senior Lecturer at Deakin, is leading work in human-centric software engineering - accessible design to inclusive teaching. With us, she helped shape award-winning research & a truly collaborative spirit. And she’s still collaborating today!





Where Are They Now? Yanjie Zhao is now a Postdoc at Huazhong Uni of Sci & Tech. She’s published 19 Core A/A* papers, incl. a survey on LLMs for SE (TOSEM 2023) with ~600 citations. She mentors students & co-organizes LLMapp FSE & LLMSC ISSTA. Still collaborating with us!




Where Are They Now? Devi Karolita is now Senior Lecturer at Palangka Raya University. She teaches, mentors & leads research on digital inclusion: tools for farmers, cyber awareness for the Indigenous & disaster apps for people with disabilities. Still publishing with HumaniSE Lab
