Today HumbersidePCP considered the Humberside PCC Annual Report 2018-19. After its consideration the Panel unanimously endorsed its content. In doing so they acknowledged the phenomenal journey the Humberside Police & OPCC had travelled to make the Force good according to HMICFRS

The Humberside Police & Crime Panel unanimously supported the Humberside PCC proposal to increase the policing precept for a Band D property by 2.2% or £4.91. A lively debate, with a proposal & amendment saw Keith Hunter receive unanimous support from the Panel

Remember, as of today, calling the police non-emergency 101 number is FREE. The previous 15p flat charge was levied by the networks to carry the call, not by the police or Government. We are delighted this has happened, it is something we have wanted for a long time.

On 4 February, following a comprehensive verbal presentation from Keith Hunter, the Panel unanimously agreed to approve the Humberside PCC Police precept for 2021-22. The precept will see an increase of £14.99 for a Band D property
