Tough extra innings loss to a solid Romeo Baseball team today. Chase Mazey ‘23 was excellent in his start, striking out 10 and leaving with a 1-1 tie. River Kraus ‘22 and Hunter Belanger ‘24 had 2 hits each. The series continues at home on Wednesday.
The boys pulled back to even in the series with Romeo, winning 6-0 at home behind a CG shutout from RHP Robbie Leonard ‘22. Leonard K’d 7 and allowed 3 hits. Wells Graham ‘23 added 2 hits. The series concludes Romeo Baseball tomorrow at 4:30.

Another MAC Red battle today, w a 8-6 win for GP at Dakota. RHP Robbie Leonard ‘22 P into the 7th to earn W, & Wells Graham ‘23 picked up the save with the tying run on. 1B Hunter Belanger ‘24 (pic) hit a grand slam & 1B jdrake23 added a HR. Series finale at home Thurs!
The boys finished the sweep of Dakota at home 6-2, maintaining a 2 gm lead over 2nd place Stevenson Titan Baseball with 3 to play. Hunter Belanger ‘24 stayed hot w 2 more H. jdrake23 got the W in relief. Connor Stafford ‘23 & Cliff Grabowski ‘23 had key hits in a 6th inn rally.

Our PreDistrict game Grosse Pointe North Baseball has been further postponed until tomorrow (Saturday) at noon. Due to this change, we will regretfully have to pull out of the GP Invitational which was originally scheduled for this weekend. Apologies to our 3 opponents & best of luck to you.
For 11 straight years (2011-present), either GPS Baseball, Grosse Pointe North Baseball or Liggett Baseball (or multiple) has ended their season in East Lansing. That includes 6 state champs & 9 finalists (GPN ‘22 result pending). Quite a run for 1 small suburb and we are all spoiled from it.

It was a great day at “The High”! GPS notched W’s 21 & 22 over great, programs, Detroit Western & Mount Pleasant. Wells Graham ‘23 had a day, earning a W in relief game 1, a H & 2R scored as well. Ben Domzalski ‘23 Hunter Belanger ‘24 & Joey McEvoy ‘23 had multi-hit games.
