4th graders explored the Chesapeake Bay Watershed locally by visiting the Snakeden Branch stream and Lake Audubon. They checked the quality of water and living signs of a healthy habitat as part of the Walker Nature Center educational programs.

George Mason University is awarding Hunters Woods ES Brian Silva with the Outstanding Student Award for the Advanced Studies in Teaching and Learning in PE program on 5/11. FCPS Health and PE has nominated him as Fairfax Schools 🌟 nominee for the VA AHPERD Award & SEPTA is honoring his nomination.
