A lot of talent indeed! We couldn’t be happier to help develop the next generation of hematology and oncology leaders right here at Fred Hutch Cancer Center. #ASH24

Fred Hutch at #ASH24: Drs. Natalie Wuliji and Mohamed Sorror discuss a multi-center study showing how social determinants of health affect access to allogeneic transplant for adults with #AML. Learn more: bit.ly/3VtAy8Q

A terrific recap of my Q&A with Fred Hutch Cancer Center chief data officer @jtleek about the Cancer AI Alliance, the transformative potential of #AI in #cancer care and research, and how we can collaborate with other research powerhouses while protecting patient data.

While much has changed in Fred Hutch Cancer Center’s 50-year history, one thing stays the same: our commitment to translating fundamental discoveries into lifesaving cures. Here's to another half century of doing the hard things to usher in the next generation of research and care.

NIH support enables Fred Hutch to translate research from our labs into care at patient bedsides and ensures we can continue to provide world-class therapies to 40,000+ patients each year. Thank you, Rep. Suzan DelBene, for championing federal biomedical research funding in Congress.

As I reflect on my five-year journey as President and Director of Fred Hutch Cancer Center, I’m incredibly proud of the strides we’ve made and excited for what’s ahead. I’m grateful for the insights of our 280 faculty members and 5,600 employees who help bring our shared mission to life.

This group represents the breadth of fundamental scientific discovery happening across the world that will spur the next generation of treatments and cures. Congrats to the recipients of the 2025 Weintraub Graduate Student Award!

Since he came to Fred Hutch Cancer Center 17 years ago, Dr. Milano has worked to establish cord blood transplant as a viable and successful alternative to traditional autologous or allogeneic bone marrow transplant. For those who don’t have many other options, it is truly lifesaving science.

Terrific to see so many members of Fred Hutch Cancer Center's nursing team presenting their latest research in cancer care delivery at #ONSCongress!

We are in a period of remarkable progress in cancer research and care. It’s critical that we don’t let near-term pressures immobilize us and lose sight of our long-term plans. My recent interview with Becker's Hospital Review: bit.ly/4lUZDow

#Nurses are the backbone of health care, and we’re fortunate to have such an extraordinary team delivering outstanding care here at Fred Hutch Cancer Center. Happy #NursesWeek to all of our nurses!

Changing the paradigm of how research and care are funded makes us all a bit nervous, but one of the things I try to counsel my team on is to react to the knowns, not to the fears. Thanks to Dr. Skip Burris, MD and The Cancer Letter for joining me in this conversation.

This event was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when science, compassion, and community come together to support meaningful collaborations like Institute for Prostate Cancer Research. Thank you for helping us accelerate research breakthroughs and personalized care for #prostatecancer!
