Human Microbiome Research laboratory of BRIC - National Institute of Biomedical Genomics has sequenced the whole genome of Escherichia coli, isolated from a human chronic wound infection. This clinically significant bacterium is associated with wound healing and carries antimicrobial resistance determinants.
