We will hold a public input meeting on Wednesday, March 5 beginning at 6 pm in the Ocracoke Community Center to review the Ocracoke Stormwater Management Plan findings and recommendations and to receive public input on the plan and its recommendations.

A strong cold front will move through ENC Wednesday with severe thunderstorms and strong winds. Timing for the line of storms arriving in Hyde County will be late afternoon into the evening. These thunderstorms have the potential to produce wind gusts in excess of 60 mph.

Notice: The Ocracoke Stormwater Management Plan hearing has been moved to Tuesday, March 11th due to an approaching storm. We will hold a public input meeting in the Ocracoke Community Center to review the Ocracoke Stormwater Management Plan findings and recommendations.
