Now Kim Jensen introduces another paradigm stem cell system: the intestine, which Kim claims is the most beautiful part of the body*. He treats us to a masterclass in how to design a good experiment and how to critically analyse data. #SCSS2024 *citation needed

Shahragim Tajbakhsh Tajbakhsh lab challenges us with some fundamental (and mindbending) concepts. He shows us beautiful live imaging of muscle stem cells in vivo, revealing the behaviours of these remarkable cells in homeostasis, disease and ageing #SCSS2024

Fundamental concepts illuminated by beautiful data Sara Wickstrom Wickstrom-Lab encourages us to think about how cells coordinate information across scales to generate and maintain the epidermis. She inspires much lively discussion throughout her talk #SCSS2024

On the first evening of #SCSS2024 we enjoyed a lively discussion, trying to find out if could all agree on the defining features of a stem cell Now Kim Jensen turns our brains inside out by presenting beautiful data that makes us question the very concept of a stem cell

European stem cell summer school 2024 was amazing! Great lectures, learned a lot📝! Met awesome stem cell scientists 🧑🔬and all of this happened on a beautiful island in Greece🏝️🇬🇷! Very grateful🥳! Big thanks to StemCell Summer School, GSCN Helmholtz Munich | @HelmholtzMunich STEMCELL Technologies!

I also had the pleasure of receiving the Paolo Bianco Prize for best poster. Thanks to Kim Jensen ,@_CellySally_ and Austin Smith for the organisation and Cedric Blanpain for the opportunity and support!

Congratulations to Dan Engelman for winning the Paolo Bianco Poster prize at #SCSS2024, and to Mirjam Isabel Binner for coming a close second. Thanks to all delegates for making our evening beach-side poster sessions so enjoyable and informative.
