Since the fantastic election two weeks ago, Hyndburn Labour has been working hard to prepare for taking over. Delivering our manifesto, ending vanity projects and wastefulness and giving people their council back, one they can be proud of.

After cleaning up the mayors office, Hyndburn Labour will take a new broom to Overview & Scrutiny. The nomination of ‘friends’ as co-optees on important Council committees will be rescinded and replaced by merit. The politicised standards board is under review.
