Illinois Basketball Fact: Today, August 28, is the birthdate for Lewis Omer, IBCA HOF Friend. Lewis was born in 1876 (Grant was our President) which makes him our oldest HOF'er. If you're wondering how he contributed to Illinois Basketball, he is the creator of our state tourney.
