#MilestoneTuesday - In 1920, the League of Nations was founded as the first global intergovernmental organization dedicated to maintaining peace. Its creation marked a new era of multilateralism and laid the foundation for international collaboration in education.

The Canton of Geneva has played a key role in the history of the IBE since its founding in 1925! At the time, three governments supported the IBE’s creation: Poland, Ecuador, and the Republic and Canton of Geneva, represented through its Department of Public Instruction (DIP)
