To improve access to safe #water & prevent waterborne diseases, ICRC installed 3 water tanks of 10000 m3 each to reinforce rainwater systems in Lamia & Busunga Primary Schools of Bundibugyo District, bordering DRC. These schools would shelter DRC refugees in case of influx.

On the 5th June, the ICRC visited the Uganda Red Cross Society Branch in Pallisa. This follows our support for the construction of a new office space after the branch building was burnt down in 2023. The Branch Board, staff, and the community appreciated the ICRC's intervention.
