Here's a map overlaying every GA private school (black) with every bottom 25% performance school (purple). arcgis.com/apps/dashboard… You can also overlay the state Senate/House districts. Can't help but notice they waited until after qualifying to bring this bill back for vote.

Vouchers are bad for Georgia students. ICYMI, the Georgia House passed #SB233, a voucher bill. The bill now moves to the Senate where they will vote to agree OR disagree on the House version. Call your senators and tell them to disagree with SB 233. #gapol

🚨BREAKING: The Georgia Legislature passed #SB233, the voucher bill that takes public dollars away from public schools. IDRA and Georgia Youth Justice Coalition for Action oppose this bill & are deeply concerned lawmakers decided to fund a voucher scam, rather than fully funding our public schools.

📝Budgets are moral documents. They reflect our leaders' priorities. There are a couple of new line items in the education section of Georgia’s proposed budget. Georgia Senate leaders are prioritizing guns in schools rather than literacy for our young learners. #gapol

Hey GA, it's #BannedBooksWeek! Teachers & students are settling into their classrooms for the school year, & here in Georgia, they continue to face restrictions on what books they can read. The best way to fight partisan censorship is to 1) read banned books! 2) go vote.
