Fresh off the press: "Microbial solutions to soil carbon sequestration" (review article) sciencedirect.com/science/articl… Great summary and outlook by Alex Mason in collaboration with Tim Cavagnaro Prof Andy Lowe and myself. Great to also hear more about non-mycorrhizal pathways 🤠

❓Could #microbes be the key to sequestering soil carbon? 🦠 🫧 Our researchers think so. Check out the article by Alex Mason Matt Salomon Prof Andy Lowe and Tim Cavagnaro. 🔗 link here: ow.ly/2CY150Px975 Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology #carbonsequestration #microbial

Our new paper demonstrates that organic farming has a positive effect on soil health. Interestingly, good #SoilHealth appears to have the strongest effects on plant yield in conventional systems. 60 fields tested. besjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.11… @fl_walder; Lucie Buchi - (lucieabuchi.bsky.social); R.Charles + al
