You are right, Simon Harris TD, these Russian atrocities are opposite to peace efforts. They show that Russia does not seek peace—it wants to continue the war. And it must be stopped and held accountable. I am grateful to Ireland for its contribution and support for Ukraine.

Really great to hear Vjosa Osmani President of the Republic of Kosovo speak today at the University of Helsinki on her vision for European integration. I spent some time in the region in 1999 and have great memories of all those I met and worked with.

Had a great evening with Natalia Beylis — her blend of unusual instruments, layered recordings, and even Leitrim birdsong took us on a strange, beautiful trip through sound. Catch her tonight in Turku if you can.

Busy day of meetings in Turku yesterday. Highlight was a great conversation at the stunning City Hall with Council Chair Mika Maaskola. Got to visit the castle too. What an impressive town — full of energy and character.
