IEEE Women in Engineering Leadership Summit 2025 (UK & Ireland) IEEE Women in Engineering UK & Ireland is delighted to host the 2025 International Leadership Summit as a series of regional events across six cities — London, Nottingham, Liverpool, Leeds, Letterkenny, and Limerick.

Each summit track will explore the role of women in shaping the future of technology through themes of empowerment, entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation.

Programmes will include keynote talks, expert panels, poster sessions, mentoring, fireside chats, and hands-on demos, tailored to address both local priorities and global challenges.

With support already confirmed from host universities, IEEE Region 8 WIE, and professional societies, over £10,000 in funding and in-kind contributions has been secured, with additional sponsorship in progress.

By bringing the summit closer to local communities, WIE ILS 2025 will foster inclusion, visibility, and collaboration, encouraging new voices and building lasting networks across academia, industry, and beyond.
