The Albanese Govt got wages moving after 10 years of flat wage growth by: - giving their own workers payrises - supported minimum wage increases - funded aged & childcare workers pay rises - revived collective bargaining - shut down big business wage cutting schemes

Great news and long overdue recognition of our amazing early childhood teachers and educators. Multi-employer bargaining driven by union members made this happen!!

Great progress towards closing the gender pay gap. IEU members are at the forefront of striking better pay deals for an education workforce that is majority women workers. Now let’s just rid of the remaining gap once and for all!
