Last week, our IHRP Clinic student Sara Maqsood spoke on a panel The Official PDAC Convention about the impact of mining in northern Ontarioās Ring of Fire on First Nations communities. The panel was hosted by our partner Anishnawbe Business Professional Association, featuring experts from mining, finance, and academia.



Last week, we were honoured to host Diane Goodman & Barbara Jackman, 2 incredible U of T Law grads in international human rights law! Diane shared her journey from Bay Street lawyer to UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency roles in Tanzania, Nepal&Europe. Barb sparked a discussion on climate refugees in Canada.
