Growth in the MENA region moderated to 1.8% in 2024. While we still project growth to pick up in 2025 and 2026, it will be slower than we last projected in October. Inflation, meanwhile, continues to decline. bit.ly/4d4ADHt

This reduction in growth projections reflects global trade tensions, high global uncertainty, a more gradual recovery in oil production than we expected six months ago, lingering effects of conflicts, and slower-than-expected progress with structural reforms in some countries.
