INARA’s President & Founder, Arwa Damon, visited our Safe Space in Daraya, Syria, a center where conflict-impacted children find healing, connection, and a chance to reclaim their childhood through mental health support and fun activities.

Tarek was pulled from the rubble in Gaza, paralyzed and silent,then his heart stopped briefly in Türkiye before beating again. He wouldn’t speak, move, or let anyone near him, until INARA stepped in. After 60 sessions, he’s walking with a crutch and slowly finding his smile again

There are reports of a chickenpox outbreak in Gaza, along with other diseases like scabies, lice, and respiratory illness. The outbreak is linked to dire conditions in overcrowded displacement camps, where poor hygiene and lack of access to healthcare are contributing factors.
