Today's #FluorescenceFriday features a stunning Swiss Roll of human colon labelled for innervation markers๐ŸŽจ. This was captured at incredible speed using our @VisiTech_UK iSIM microscope to image 1456 individual tiles, each with 21 Z-Steps! ๐Ÿ”ฌ Work from Matthew Rowe ๐ŸŒŸ

So excited that this beast is out. We went to a lot of trouble to understand what the TRPV4 ion channel is doing in the colon. This paper has beautiful immuno, calcium imagining, functional studies, high end analytical tools. It includes analysis of tissue from multiple species.

So great to see this out! ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ Congratulations Pradeep R. This was a huge effort (with many international collaborators) to develop an image analysis toolbox that Iโ€™m certain will support many researchers in the neuro-gastro community ANGMA Integrated Neurogenic Mechanisms Laboratory Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences
