🎓🌍 IOM & Faculty of Economics and Political Science marked the closing of the Migration Research Unit (MRU) project—featuring a research competition, 500+ trained, a study visit to the Netherlands and Belgium, website launch, and key research partnerships.

احتفلت المنظمة الدولية للهجرة وجامعة القاهرة – كلية الاقتصاد والعلوم السياسية باختتام مشروع وحدة أبحاث الهجرة (MRU)، والذي تضمن مسابقة بحثية، تدريب أكثر من ٥٠٠ مشارك، زيارة دراسية إلى هولندا وبلجيكا، إطلاق موقع الوحدة الإلكتروني، وشراكات بحثية هامة.

Feeling energised and inspired after engaging with our incredible teams in Cairo and Amman. Both townhalls were engaging and constructive. Grateful for the thoughtful questions & reflections from colleagues on how we can strengthen our impact and presence in the field together.

We signed an agreement with ICRC Egypt which will allow both organizations to exchange knowledge and expertise to support migrant and refugee communities in Egypt by reconnecting with loved ones they’ve lost contact with. Full article: egypt.iom.int/news/joint-pre…
