Remittances are a lifeline for many families, they represent also a great portion of GDP of the economies across the #WesternBalkans! We are working towards their responsible contribution to development outcomes!

Along the Western Balkans route, migrants continue to face serious risks. With Denmark MFA 🇩🇰 support over the last 4 years, the #WBJAST initiative strengthened regional efforts against trafficking & smuggling, supporting frontline workers and improving protection for those at risk.

Within the “Western Balkans Integrated Border Management Capacity Building Facility – #WBIBM”, 🇲🇪 border police took part in a study visit to 🇮🇹 to strengthen migration management capacities in line with #EU standards, hosted by 🇮🇹 counterparts & supported by #IOM.
