The upcoming days I will introduce the most interesting aspects of Planetmint, the evolution of BigchainDB into a modular metadatabase blockchain on top of @Tendermint. The name gives a hint about its interoperability with IPFS by sharing InterPlanetary Linked Data (IPLD).

Planetmint is a quite natural extension to IPFS as it functions a "sharded", distributed, application and database service. Scales pretty well and offers powerful funtions for data availability proofs.

It is built for efficient in data-intensive systems & supports horizontal scaling based on sharding. Handling contract metadata without clogging the blockchain. The power stems from @Tarantaool for storing of and operating on data. Probably the first blockchain based on Tarantool

The last missing piece to turn Liquid Network 🌊 into a micro-investment platform for machines and machine-networks. The integration with files in IPFS and metadata in Planetmint Integration of Linked Data references.
