🧵6. The Invasive Species Council have made 12 recommendations to Anthony Albanese, Tanya Plibersek & new Ag Minister Julie Collins which we are hoping to see urgent action & funding for. Remember this bird flu could lead to extinctions & bird deaths on the scale of the black summer bushfires.

Recent changes in Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry leadership give us confidence enviro biosecurity is being given greater focus & we're eager to see this momentum continue under Julie Collins.
