"Être sur la même longueur d'onde". Grâce à l'#hyperscanning, on peut observer la #synchronisation des ondes #cérébrales d'individus différents. A la clef, l'émergence des #neurosciences collectives. par Quentin Moreau de l'Institut des Sciences Cognitives - Marc Jeannerod cortex-mag.net/comment-la-sci…

How do macaque's subcortical brain structures process social multisensory input? Check out our (VERY EXCITING) fMRI publication: doi.org/10.1111/ejn.16… (part I of the story on cortical areas nature.com/articles/s4146…) Congrats to first Mathilda Froesel & last Suliann Ben Hamed et al.!

In this ❤️ paper Association for Psychological Science we uncover a new signature of social cognition -a visual preference for face-to-face individuals- shared by humans and monkeys, with some puzzles from infants’ results opening to new hypotheses Nicolas Goupil Jean-Remy Hochmann et al. journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/09…

❕ Now out in PLOS Biology , a new paper by the Crockford & Wittig team (Ape Social Mind Lab) of ISC-MJ investigating the ontogeny of stick tool use in the Taï Chimpanzee Project chimpanzees. In 1979 Christophe and Hedwige Boesch started in Taï National Park the chimpanzee long-term study site, today known as Taï Chimpanzee Project . In 2024 we celebrate 45 years of research and conservation at TCP with a scientific symposium from Sep, 18 - 20, 2024 at the Institut des Sciences Cognitives - Marc Jeannerod in Lyon.

Today, we had the pleasure to welcome Sarah Gerson and @RossVanderwert (Tiny To Tots) for two very interesting talks on the benefits of doll play, and on mirroring brain mechanisms in CDC patients.

New paper alert 🚨 with Guillaume Dumas and the Precision Psychiatry & Social Physiology lab. we show distinct behavioral and inter-brain patterns in TD-TD and ASD-TD dyads🧠🔁🧠! tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…

🚨New laminar MEG toolkit🚨I'm so happy to be at biomag2024 to announce the release of laMEG, an easy-to-install implementation of the simulations and analyses from our laminar MEG papers github.com/danclab/laMEG AND if you wish you could use SPM from python, keep reading👇🧵

Our institute will host the Taï Chimpanzee Project symposium next month. Deadline for registration has been extended : join us ! ⬇️

New paper out! We identify a building block of the Language of Thought in infancy: thematic roles (agent, patient). More on Liuba Papeo's thread below. Institut des Sciences Cognitives - Marc Jeannerod Baby Lyon 🧵👇
