This week, I am sharing a poem first published by Black Bough Poetry / Barddoniaeth Y Gangen Ddu in the anthology 'Afterfeather'. My poem 'Expectation' comes with a word of warning: the subject matter is #stillbirth. Thank you to host Sandra Noel sandra noel TopTweetTuesday #poetry #poetrycommunity

An ‘exceptional scientist’ Dr Fortune Gomo, 39, who was wks from turning 40 was found seriously injured on the street in Dundee before being pronounced dead at the scene. She had moved to Scotland from Zimbabwe. Kyler Rattray, 20, has been charged with murder. RIP Fortune Gomo🙏🏾

Much gratitude to host sandra noel, Matthew M C Smith, Black Bough Poetry / Barddoniaeth Y Gangen Ddu, and each of you for holding this space.

I've got pretty thick skin (you need it to stay on this site) but I draw the line at being told I should be tried in a televised Nuremberg style trial That's sick.

What utter, total ignorance from this incredibly stupid woman You only qualify for a Motability car if you get higher rate of mobility component of PIP or DLA which you would never get for the conditions she cites. Why do these people hate disabled people so much? #TakingThePIP

Great stuff. I've been wondering whether we need more reading "influencers" - people who kids look up to publicly championing it. Kids also need to see adults reading for pleasure and that's happening less.

This really intrigued me so today I started looking and counting more attentively. I found a churchyard full of gatekeepers, meadow browns and various blues , then this afternoon found a buddleia with 15 butterflies. I haven’t seen that for decades ALISON BRACKENBURY

The colours and architecture of plants exceeds anything human made. Wild clematis, bramble, greater knapweed and thistle - the last a slumberland moon for sleeping bees.
