An increasing number of people are being forced into reliance on an overworked charity sector due to poverty. The political class is unwilling to take steps to reduce poverty. Yet they are also unwilling to provide additional funding for the services that ameliorate it.

Bosses and senior leadership cannot continue to sweep this disgusting behavior under the rug. They need to begin treating the safety of workers as a priority, especially for women and other marginalised genders.

A month ago we teased a big announcement about workers at a housing-focused charity. Since then management have taken a more constructive approach to negotiating with the union. On this basis, workers have decided (for now at least) to pause the announcement.
