Yesterday demonstration at City St George's, University of London where our members - migrant cleaners were striking and protesting outside management offices demanding an end to the exploitative practices of outsourcing at the Unviersity! End discrimination! Bring them in-house!

Last week IWGB members came together for a 2 day Political Economy course, bringing together foster carers, drivers, couriers, security guards & more to learn about the history of the labour movement, discuss how we can build power in our workplaces, & practice organising skills.

On Saturday, a group of Spanish-speaking members gathered for an empowering day of learning about local social support services and access barriers and exploring gender inclusivity. Participants left with practical tools, valuable insights, and a strengthened sense of community.

Thank you to Latin American Women's Rights Service - LAWRS for delivering an incredible and very useful training session for our union staff today. The session focused on how to support our members affected by gender-based violence and the impact of harmful practices.
