Timing is everything

Really interested to see how Nick Burdi fairs against MLB hitters. FB/SL/CH. Throws hard & misses bats, but he’s never consistently thrown strikes like he has this year. Carrying over improved command will be vital as a fly ball pitcher w/a propensity for giving up hard contact.

Marcelo Mayer is playing 2B tonight for the first time since 5/7. He’s played 5 career games there. If the plan is now for Campbell to eventually move to 1B, opening up 2B, Mayer needs to be playing there everyday from now on to get him as many reps as possible.
