On May 13th, as part of Med Learning Group's program "The Implementation of Anti-Amyloid Therapeutics for #AlzheimersDisease", I gave a Grand Round at Nassau University Medical Center in which I presented current available “disease modifying strategies” in #Alzheimers immunotherapeutics.

Researchers Yunhao Liu, Christine Johnston, Nadine Jarousse, et al. University of Washington Gilead Sciences found people that w/ HSV-1 were 80% more likely to have #AlzheimersDisease, while those treated w/ antiviral medications had a 17% lower risk.
