A long journey of 900kms but it hardly took anytime for ‘Jamuna’ , the tigress brought from TATR to find its foot. For enhancing the genetic diversity of the Simlipal Tigers, it is anticipated to play a key role. It’s doing fine in its soft enclosure.

On 21st Feb'25, Similipal Tiger Reserve, Odisha, held an awareness meet with Villagers of Podadiha, PRI members & officials. Emphasis was on biodiversity conservation, ecotourism benefits & fire prevention. 100 cattle graziers received umbrellas & pledged support. #ForestConservation
