The 6th Annual IgE Symposium is THIS FRIDAY! This week we will be highlighting speakers from each subsection. Don't forget to register!

Dr. Soumaya Zlitni DrSouZ is this year's scientific keynote speaker! Dr. Zlitni is a post-doc in the Bhatt lab at Stanford University and studies microbial communities and host-microbiome interactions. We are looking forward to their talk THIS FRIDAY!

Dr. Paola Betancur Betancur Lab will be speaking at this year's IgE symposium! Dr. Betancur lab's is interested in how mechanisms encoded in DNA aid cancerous cells in escaping immune detection. They are also a co-founder of UCSF PROPEL.

Dr. Devin L. Horton @DrDevinLHorton will be this year's social keynote speaker! Dr. Horton is the current Dean of Natural Sciences at Sacramento City College. They also founded a company aimed at identifying and dismantling systems of inequity to develop inclusivity in the workplace.

Dr. Julie Zikherman will be presenting TOMORROW at the IgE Symposium in the adaptive immunology section. Dr. Zikherman's lab studies how B cells respond to antigens in autoimmune diseases. Looking forward to her talk!

Last but not least, Dr. Tippi Mackenzie Tippi MacKenzie will be presenting TOMORROW in the Fetal-materal session at the IgE symposium. Dr. Mackenzie's lab focuses on the role of fetal-maternal tolerance in pregnancy complications. Don't miss it!

Wrapped up our fetal maternal immunology session this morning with anchor speaker, Tippi MacKenzie!

The adaptive Immunology session is in full swing here at Gladstone. Amazing talks by Maya Arce, Madhura Raghavan, and Julie Zikherman happening now!

We will start the symposium back up again at 1:30 PM with some short presentations from ImmunoX student organizations. Don’t miss hearing the important work that MHC, ImmunoExplore, and ImmunoDiverse are doing in our community!
