📢 Today at #COSP18, Krista Carr of Inclusion Canada brought the power of our movement to the UN General Assembly. “Rights aren’t gifts. You claim them until they’re respected. We have courage. We have the Convention. And we’re not going anywhere.”

Bill C-4 is being debated again today in House of Commons. Will any MP raise this issue? Is anyone listening? We need an amendment to #BillC4 to ensure #PWD are not negatively affected by a tax cut only to have their taxes raised and a reduction in disability assistance.

At today’s #COSP18 event on the Global Disability Inclusion Report, speakers are discussing how to speed up inclusion. Self-advocates in our network made the report easier to understand, and made sure the big issues in our lives are part of the conversation.
