And so the oddly-timed run of Easter-themed art comes to an end. Today artle.uk returns to the hits, with a work best known by a title (used here) other than that originally bestowed upon it. Guess the work in no more than 6 attempts! #artle

Fred, Doug and I carry the papers in to the shop. Doug tells me he saw me on the X19 yesterday. He says I was sitting near the window. Fred talks about a tractor that caught fire. I leave them discussing two robots who took part in a boxing match.

Nobody at all is going to like this. I'm not saying it to make a political point, I'm just saying it because almost nobody is discussing it, and it's the population time-bomb behind the immigration debate. The UK doesn't have enough people to support our aging population.🧵

Early stroll. Morning’s lightglass is half empty. That grey bin is either out very early or out very late. Green weeds behind a green fence. A security lights flings my shadow to the ground. The ancient incline of the hill.

Fred is carrying the papers into the shop as I arrive. He wanders off to buy cat food. I ask him the name of his cat and he says ‘Kitty, because she was a kitten when we found her.’ Doug arrives later on Saturdays, bringing his neighbour.

Been saying this for quite a while. Had a debate a few years ago with a luminary of Bulgarian wines on this as the way forward. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

Early stroll. A bedroom light goes on, goes off, goes on again. A distant shout, streets away. A traffic cone on the back of a flatbed truck. The sky is as broad as it’s long. Morning is both the bottle and the message in the bottle.
