Late post. My poem “Bait-Fishing” was published in the Indiana Review . Feels cliche sometimes, this part of my story. A Black girl grows up in the suburbs and has to unlearn what she’s taught about Blackness and beauty. Grateful for this space to meditate and reclaim.
