Most interesting point of night. Those on payments between €100 & €200 per hectare produce more livestock units on that hectare than those receiving €1000+. Time to slash those on large payment. I've proposed amendments which would achieve this. Will @MaireadMcGMEP support

Why would anyone think Irish Farmers' Association were the organisation to talk to about fairer CAP payments. They don't believe in them. During the last CAP negotiations they along with saintly Simon Coveney kept the loot for themselves at the expense of 80% of the real productive farmers.

So Irish Farmers' Association want to represent “genuine” farmers!?! Full convergence of payments means all farmers getting between 200-300 payment/hectare. The most productive when it comes to € spent per livestock unit produced. Do Irish Farmers' Association support full convergence? No.They actively oppose it.
