🆕 At Monaghan District Court, 2 Dublin men were convicted/fined €200 each for possession of 33 dead coarse fish. 📍 Lisnashannagh Lake, Co #Monaghan. ⚖️ Legal costs of €1,000 to be paid to IFI. 🛡️ IFI Fisheries Officers had been carrying out surveillance of the area.

⚫ IFI gained a conviction against a #Navan angler who exceeded the legal daily bag limit (4 coarse fish). 🐟 Some fish were also larger than the maximum size for taking. 📍 Mentrim Lough, Co #Meath Man fined €500 for possession of fish by court.

💶 €150 fine issued to angler for possession of a dead oversized pike (limit is 50cm). 📍 Breakey Lough, Cormeen, Co #Meath ⚫ IFI officers were carrying out routine patrols in the area.
