This was word on Allegheny County Dem Committee a few years ago. Then, they added a bunch of new members through grassroots organizing, purged/sidelined the Trump supporters in their ranks, and now Allegheny County was one of only large urban counties not to move right in 2024

With Allegheny County essentially having identical 2020 and 2024 voting margins, interesting that the county’s October proposal to increase property taxes had essentially no impact on the elections. Voters seemed to understand that the proposal wasn’t related to bigger races
