I'm Palestinian. I feel so politically isolated right now. Most Palestinians seem to have gone off the deep end. I see so many making excuses for terrorism, usually along the false lines that Israel is committing genocide. Where are the Palestinians who want peace with Israel?

Come by my poster on Tuesday 2PM (B34). This is a massive effort from the lab, led by Butt Lab - Oxford, Filippo Ghezzi and Liad J. Baruchin, with my continued involvement. A preprint will be coming up soon so stay tuned!

How do we first perceive the world around us? In a study led by Filippo Ghezzi& Liad J. Baruchin we set out to understand how local neocortical circuits – specifically those formed by GABAergic INs, contribute to early sensory processing on the millisecond timescale. Image: Dall-E

To support the labs SussexNeuro we have an open technical position for an #electronics specialist! The person will be working with me on developing #openhardware/#openscience tools for #neuroscience Initially for 2 years, but with the possibility of extension 1/2

Please RT - we have open postdoc/PhD positions! We are interested in circuit mechanisms of psychiatric symptoms in neurodegeneration. Projects include mouse behaviour, calcium imaging and spatial transcriptomics. You will be part of a CZI Science NDCN team @DZNE_en Bonn. More👇

US expert: Gaza death toll reported by Hamas makes no sense: Daily totals increase too consistently, women & children casualty figures illogical, numbers most likely fake (this should be obvious to anyone with a little common sense). Here’s the report 👇 tabletmag.com/sections/news/…
