Rounding out a wonderful 10-race meeting at Inverell, local trainer Todd Payne won the final event, the Shane Edmonds Finishing Card Benchmark 58 Handicap (1050m) with Takemine (Luke Rolls). Congratulations team.

Our President Peter Tanner wasn't able to get to Friday's meeting, but he was so proud of the club's effort to host a massive 10-race program. Peter wants to thank all the volunteers for getting the job done and everyone else who supported the pop-up meeting.

Unfortunately, Armidale can't race on Thursday, but we're happy to step up and lend a hand. We're also so grateful to Armidale and surrounding businesses for their support of the Armidale Jockey Club and tomorrow's seven-race program at Inverell Racecourse.

The Inverell Racecourse is looking great ahead of tomorrow's 7-race program. On the quick backup after racing last Friday, it's been a big effort by Col, Todd, and the team.

Quinky Deel wins by a whisker at Inverell for Jake Hull! 👏

Congratulations to local trainer Wayne Oakenfull & owner Tim Moses, who's enjoyed recent Golden Triangle success with Ellati. The 4YO was on debut at Moree late last month when winning the 950m Maiden Sprint. On Saturday, Ellati went to Mallawa and won the 1000m Class 2 Trophy.

Recent Inverell winner Better Tomorrow kept up his good form at Moree last week. Trained locally by Jo Methven and ridden by Kody Nestor, the 7YO made it back-to-back wins when cruising to a three-length victory in the 1600m Benchmark 58 Handicap.
