Ray has established stable communications with mission control at the very first opportunity of doing so. Incredible work by our FSW, GNC, Avionics and propulsion teams.

Ray is stable and healthy on orbit! Ray is power positive, has exceptional link margin, and has full attitude control. All systems are performing on orbit as designed, a major milestone and validation for Inversion's first mission.

Last Wednesday, approximately 29 hours after separation, Inversion received our first pictures from Ray on orbit. Commissioning of Ray so quickly, just over 1 day, is a major accomplishment for our first mission! Ray remains healthy with all systems functioning nominally.

A few pictures from when Ray launched to space last month. An amazing day for the whole Inversion team! Ray remains healthy and on track with it's mission!

Incredibly exciting new to share! Inversion has successfully completed a planned on-orbit software update on Ray! This is a much larger technical accomplishment that it may initially seem, especially on a first mission. Here's why its such a big deal:

Ray is the #1 most viewed satellite on SatCat this week, a product by Kayhan Space which tracks satellites in orbit! You can follow along and see a live view of where Ray is in orbit! satcat.com

Ray remains healthy on orbit sending down some great pictures as the team continues to check off mission milestones in lead up to re-entry.

Ray recently captured a clear image from orbit while over Svalbard, Norway. Ray's mission is proceeding well, with the team working on continued data collection and testing on-orbit prior to a re-entry.

We wanted to demonstrate the ability to maneuver on-orbit with our very first spacecraft. That meant designing, manufacturing, and testing our propulsion systems in-house 🔥

Our first spacecraft, Ray, has completed its mission on-orbit – serving as an extremely successful testbed for validating key technologies despite not attempting re-entry due to an on-orbit short circuit in a component preventing our deorbit engine from igniting.   Throughout

We were able to very accurately preform two major delta V maneuvers with Ray, a pretty major accomplishment for a first mission! This shows the capability of Inversion's in house GNC, software, feed system, ACS systems, and more. Data: celestrak.org/NORAD/elements…
