A privilege to join the great Irish American community in NYC bidding farewell to our outstanding Consul General Helena Nolan and Deputy Consul General gareth hargadon. They are beloved by the community and have done us all proud. We wish them happy landings in their new roles.





Trinidad and Tobago and Ireland both have rich literary traditions. I enjoyed revisiting Irish-Trinidadian Amanda Smyth's Black Rock on my way to the islands. Looking forward to reading Claire Adamโs Love Forms too!





I was delighted to have the opportunity to attend a @NLinPortofSpain reception marking the International Day of Women in Diplomacy yesterday. I have met so many Caribbean women in diplomacy doing excellent work, including in ๐น๐น Thank you for helping us celebrate them Cor Hersbach


During my visit, the ๐น๐น UN Country team provided fascinating insights to their important work in Trinidad and Tobago, and the region. UN Resident Coordinator Joanna Kazana leads the work of United Nations Trinidad and Tobago with passion and determination.

I was pleased to present copies to ๐น๐น Director of Bilateral Relations Dr Paul Byam, who knew a lot about Ireland! Looking forward to continuing these important ๐ฎ๐ช ๐น๐น conversations.
