Krapp's Last Tape, one of Samuel Beckett's finest works, is now showing at the Barbican Centre until 3 May. The eponymous Krapp is played by the great Stephen Rea, and his reflective performance has received glowing reviews. For more info and tickets: barbican.org.uk/whats-on/2025/…

Ambassador Martin Fraser was pleased to visit SOAS University of London today for a talk on Irish diplomacy, sharing insights on Ireland’s foreign policy. Thanks to Vice Chancellor Adam Habib, Prof Leslie Vinjamuri and all at SOAS for the warm welcome!



Ambassador Fraser was proud to host IrelandFundsGB for an evening with the Northern Irish community in London. Speakers included Fleur Anderson MP, Bridget Walsh, Katie Jemmett and Patrick Kielty - who spoke movingly about growing up in Northern Ireland and the progress since.




I welcome the outcome of today’s EU-UK Summit in London and congratulate PM Keir Starmer, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and António Costa Costa on concluding agreements and setting out an ambitious agenda for strengthening the partnership between the EU and the UK.



A celebratory spirit filled the Embassy yesterday for the annual British Association for Irish Studies (BAIS) awards Guests were welcomed by Ambassador Fraser, BAIS Chair Derval Tubridy and Prof Marianne Elliott OBE spoke on the importance of interdisciplinarity in Irish Studies. Congratulations to all!
