I found this a really useful resource paper in Nature Rev Immunol Guidelines for T cell nomenclature nature.com/articles/s4157… The authors propose a new “modular” nomenclature that accounts for the increasing heterogeneity of T cell subtypes unearthed by recent single cell analyses.
