With support from Irise Institute East Africa we held a feedback session with Kirinya High School girls who received menstrual flow cups via the #COVAproject. They shared experiences, challenges & how the cups helped them manage periods with confidence & dignity. #EndPeriodPoverty

Studies show that 1 in every 4 girls in Uganda drops out of school upon starting their period, largely due to lack of access to safe menstrual products, poor sanitation facilities, stigma, and limited information. These challenges also take a toll on their mental well-being.
