It may seem like students just went back to school, but today marks the 100th school day for ICSD. Elementary students know how to celebrate with many donning rollers and walking with canes as they try to represent centenarians. Learning activities emphasized the number 100.

Reminder that SEP/CCR Week is Jan. 30-Feb. 3. The release time Monday through Thursday for elementary schools will be 2:30 p.m. Check the bell schedule for secondary schools for release time. Also, to clarify, Friday will follow the normal early-out schedule in all schools.

Wendy Stoker, owner of Cedar City's Arctic Circle, knows students cannot learn if they are hungry. Thanks to her generosity, 302 students no longer have delinquent lunch accounts. Through Arctic Circle's Arctic Cares program, she donated $952.80 to cover lunch needs.

All Iron County School District schools will follow a two-hour delayed start on April 4. School start times and transportation schedules will run two hours later than normal. Morning preschool, kindergarten classes are canceled. Please check school websites for more information.
