Is an agenda of eliminating veteran services and jobs (yes, many veterans are employed by federal agencies like the VA) really what people voted for? So far, the top priority of this administration seems to be killing jobs and increasing our unemployment rate.

With a Trump recession looking more likely every day, now is the time to be investing in the future of Ohio - our young people - not to use the law to sow division and censorship. SB1 is a huge step backwards for our state.

All of my local school districts have confirmed that this cap will force districts to place levies on the ballot MORE often, not less. This is NOT property tax relief.

Please be extremely careful during the flooding we’re experiencing. Avoid areas by the river if possible, and obey all signage. Keep a lookout for information, and stay safe.

Thanks to Ohio AFL-CIO for asking me to kick-off their recent Legislative Conference. Ohio workers deserve a state budget that fairly funds our public schools, protects the rights of workers to bargain for good wages and benefits, and ensures safe working conditions.

To be clear, every single Ohio House Democrat voted against this budget, even those of us from our biggest cities. Simply put, the supermajority's budget is bad for ALL public schools. ideastream.org/2025-05-28/rur…

As a new state rep, I am celebrating Pride month a little differently this year. Join my Ohio House Dems colleagues and me at our press conference this Tuesday on ohiochannel.org to learn more about our vision of an Ohio that is inclusive and supports ALL of our citizens.

Republicans in Ohio have controlled every branch of govt for last 15 years; R governors for 31 of the last 35 years R senate for 35 of 35 years R house for 33 of 35 years R supreme court for 35 of 35 years This "top state" thing is taking a really, really long time.

🏘️ Bob Schottenstein, head of M/I Homes, says Ohio is one of their most difficult states to operate in. That needs to change. The Senate’s budget includes $25M for Residential Economic Development Districts—grants that help communities embrace growth by offsetting housing

Make no mistake: whether you use Medicaid or not, you will feel the impacts of cuts to the program. The budget bill the Senate is considering right now would kick 16 MILLION people off their health insurance, & health care costs could go up by up to $485 per year for most people.

Independence Day is a reminder that America is not the project of any one person. The single most powerful word in our democracy is the word ‘We.’ ‘We The People.’ ‘We Shall Overcome.’ ‘Yes We Can.’ America is owned by no one. It belongs to all citizens. And at this moment in
