A break after days of workshopping global governance in Barcelona, with @NoemieLaurens @leafjohnson Guillaume Beaumier Stella Ladi Janina Grabs & Isabel Rodriguez-Toribio. Missing Christian Kreuder-Sonnen and Jean-Frédéric Morin...

On my way to Glasgow after a very productive workshop at Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals and Esade full of interesting debates about global governance. Very grateful to the organisers and all the participants for their feedback, kindness and advise. It’s been great #BCNWGG2022 🤗!

Thanks so much to all the panelists for sharing their honest insight and advice! Also, shout out to BISA - British International Studies Association organizing team for putting together this productive ECR development day. Best way to kick off #BISA2022 🤓

When you do your PhD at UofG Soc & Pol Sci / University of Glasgow you get to graduate with these views 😊🤗

I'm thrilled to make this official (at last!). For the next two years, I'll be working with/learning from Sam Rowan and Alexandra Zeitz as a Horizon Postdoctoral Fellow at Concordia University. Looking forward to making the most of this incredible opportunity (and this lovely city!) 😊

I'm looking forward to this happening tomorrow at Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals! Thank you *so* much for organising this exciting workshop, Charles B. Roger!

👉🏽 Today IBEI held the Workshop '#Informality and #GlobalGovernance: Advancing the Research Frontier' within the Research Project INGOV coordinated by Charles B. Roger (IBEI). About the project: t.ly/oZUw With the support of Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades, European Consortium for Political Research/ECPR SG on International Relations (SGIR) & compte no operatiu.

I was missing my community and feeling nostalgic because I could not make it to Glasgow this week, but BISA - British International Studies Association found a way to "flight me home." 🧡Have a fantastic conference, everyone! See you next year!

If you're at #ISA2024, please join us tomorrow afternoon for two panels on Innovation and Decline in Global Governance. @johnkarlsrud; @crismaglia; Francesco Gatti; Malte Brosig; ShirleyLukin; Isabel Rodriguez-Toribio; @Matias_Margulis.

Important new article by Isabel Rodriguez-Toribio (Isabel Rodriguez-Toribio) on what happens to the design of IIGOs after their creation. By studying why states delegate more authority to IIGOs over time, this piece takes the literature in an exciting new direction. journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/00…
