Listening to our amazing head of midwifery Kerry Taylor excitedly describe our maternity hospital - moving from Poole to the purpose built BEACH building at Bournemouth ๐ฅUniversity Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust also beavers! And the increase of women in medicine to more than half of all doctors ๐ช

Major obstetric haemorrhage simulation in our new obstetric theatre- safely transferred to new critical care unit. Lots of enthusiasm and learning prior to clinical moves. University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust UHD Simulation

Grand Sim: 4 other concurrent emergencies too, PPH and anaphylaxis in our 2 recovery patients, an eclampsia fit on labour ward and a CICV in theatre + neonatal resuscitation. Thanks to Jessica Wiggins for conceiving and delivering this with amazing team ๐๐. ๐คnever IRL University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust

Lovely send off to St Maryโs this morning. Lots of memories shared. For me personally, 18 years of obstetric anaesthesia, 5 years planning and delivering the move and 3rd baby born in room A 16 years ago. Theatre looks very bare! โฆUniversity Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trustโฉ

Thanks for everything you have done to make the move seamless Kerry Taylor I hope youโve had a break?
